The savings are beyond comparison!
If Boracay has been on your mind since the quarantine happened, then you’re most likely itching to fly to the island as soon as it reopens. Well, you’re in luck! One, because it will finally accept more tourists starting on 1 Oct 2020, after an official announcement by the Department of Tourism. And two, because AirAsia is now offering an amazing Boracay seat sale that offers one-way seats with base fares starting at just ₱8!
Available for an entire week, the new Boracay seat sale covers flights to Caticlan (Godofredo P. Ramos Airport) from areas under general community quarantine, including Metro Manila. At the moment, the Kalibo International Airport only accepts locally stranded individuals, returning overseas Filipino workers, and authorised persons. Travellers from Western Visayas were likewise already permitted to travel to the Aklan destination beginning June 2020.

Booking period: Until 4 Oct 2020
Travel period: 2 Oct 2020 to 30 Jun 2021
Less than ₱500 (excluding processing fee if you’re a non-BigPay user) for a round-trip flight to Boracay? Definitely a steal! However, there are other things to consider to make sure you have a safe, hassle-free, and enjoyable trip to this world-renowned tropical paradise, such as the cost of the mandatory COVID-19 testing prior to your departure, plus other travel requirements (see here).
In its Boracay seat sale, AirAsia is also offering an all-inclusive package which gives you more chances to save for your Boracay holiday. By using the promo code BORA8, you can enjoy 30% off on flights to Caticlan, plus 8% off on Boracay tours and activities. Hotel accommodation will also be included. For this, you must open the Activities tile on AirAsia’s website and add your trip information. Upon payment, you will get a confirmation voucher email, which you must then present during redemption.
