TFETP is a government-backed program that recruits foreign English teachers and teaching assistants to work in public schools across Taiwan. It’s designed to provide Taiwanese students with more opportunities to learn English and to help improve their language skills, particularly in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. With a focus on students in elementary (Grades 3-6) and junior high (Grades 7-9) schools, the program also aims to foster innovative teaching methods and promote multicultural understanding in classrooms.
