Grab Driver or Rider? Upgrade Your Skills With Free Grab Online Classes

In times like this, having a single source of income and skill just doesn’t cut it anymore. What’s in store at GrabAcademy

GrabAcademy courses fall under three key pillars or course groups: safety across the platform, growing within the platform, and thriving beyond the platform. Available via the Grab app for drivers and delivery partners, the pillars revolve around safety, efficiency, and skills that they can use outside of working with Grab.

Safety across the platform deals with fundamental subjects like proper food handling, vehicle sanitation, and data protection. Growing within the platform tackles technical aspects of working for the multinational company. These include the general code of conduct, driver-cancellation policy, and service quality standards. Thriving beyond the platform teaches one about entrepreneurship, baking, farming, and even milk tea-making.

In addition, Grab, in partnership with Microsoft, features a digital literacy program. It covers topics such as computer basics, online communication, and creating and managing digital content. There are six courses under the program and upon completion, the driver or rider will receive a Microsoft certificate.

Certificates will also be given to those who finish the other pillars.

How to register for the Grab classes

GrabAcademy is accessible through the Grab app for drivers and delivery partners. They must first be logged in on Grab via a mobile phone and connected to the Internet. While on the application, they can access GrabAcademy by going to “More,” tapping “Support,” and opening the “GrabAcademy” option.

They may also open GrabAcademy by clicking this link using a smartphone. For those just planning to join Grab as a driver or rider, they can visit Grab online to register. Alternatively, they may download Axonify from Playstore or App Store. Then, do the following steps:

1. Type “grab” on the activation screen. Click “Activate.”
2. Enter their email address as username and mobile number as their password. Both information must be the same as the ones used to register with Grab.
3. Update the old password with a new one. Then, they must answer the three security questions and click “Save.”

Once on GrabAcademy, choose a virtual coach to guide you through the whole learning experience. There are also options to play games, answer questions, and earn reward points. More importantly, Grab drivers and riders can attend the available trainings and workshops to help them flourish both within and outside of the app.
