Bars in Phuket may be a dime a dozen, but one with a spectacular view is harder to come by. At After Beach Bar, the scenery is the main show. The clifftop bar is perched above Kata Noi Beach, overlooking sweeping views of the sparkling sea. And while the vista is beautiful 24/7, it only gets more impressive throughout the day. Come sunset, this becomes one of the best places for a drink on the island. Book a table ahead of time to get a spot out on the balcony.

Toast to the views at Baba Nest Rooftop Bar, an exclusive rooftop bar at the top of the luxurious Sri Panwa Hotel. Nestled in the remote Cape Panwa, this nightlife spot is surrounded by unspoiled rainforest and seascapes. It’s one of the more upscale Phuket bars — Baba’s cocktails and champagne can be pricey — but it’s still very lively. On most evenings, Baba Nest is packed, so it’s best to make reservations early. It also closes earlier than most bars in Phuket, so make it your first stop if you’re embarking on a pub crawl through the island.

If you need a change of pace, Roots Rock Reggae Bar may be the perfect place for a nightcap in Phuket. Grab a table at this reggae bar for chill beats and mellow fun, then choose your poison from an extensive menu of beers, cocktails, and shooters. You won’t find fancy trappings here, but with good vibes, good music, and good drinks — well, what else do you really need?
Address: Nanai Road, Pa Tong Beach, Phuket
When in Thailand, we always gravitate towards the beach — so why should it be any different at night? Nestled on the shores of Bang Tao Beach, Xana Beach Club in Angsana Resort is one of the hippest Phuket beach clubs. It has all the ingredients for an unforgettable beach party: a stylish crowd, beautiful décor, delicious cocktails, and amazing DJs. The 35-metre pool and private stretch of beach will only make you feel more of a VIP.

Beach parties may just be our favourite Phuket nightlife experience, and is a magnificent spot where we can enjoy the experience to the fullest. For one, the scenic Patong Beach is an iconic setting!
We recommend getting to Kudo early to watch the sunset over the brilliant Andaman Sea. Sip cocktails and munch on bar chow as the music plays and the party gets started. Although we have to say, while the drinks are delicious, the Italian dishes (especially the pizza) from their in-house restaurant definitely steal the show!

Coming from the world-renowned Ibiza brand, Café del Mar makes its mark as one of the most sophisticated Phuket beach clubs you have to check out. The tropical-themed bar invites travellers to enjoy the picturesque Kamala Beach while sipping refreshing drinks and listening to chillout tunes by renowned guest DJs. Café del Mar is quite low-key during the day but when night falls, the music and party turns up full blast.
