Our favourite places to stay on this sleepy Cebu island.
Between keeping up with ever-changing travel restrictions and safety guidelines in the new normal, choosing the right hotel in the Philippines can be quite the challenge. “What’s the difference between a hotel for quarantine and for leisure?” “How many people are allowed to undergo quarantine in one room?” “Are families allowed to quarantine together?”
Thankfully, Robinsons Hotels & Resorts is ready to put your mind at ease and serve you amid the pandemic. From budget-friendly hotels to splurge-worthy resorts with pools, there’s a place for every kind of traveller with this hotel group — whether you’re looking for a quarantine hotel, an accessible residence near your office, or a leisure staycation in the city.
From the moment you enter your hotel to the day of your departure, Robinsons Hotels & Resorts follows a rigorous set of health and sanitation measures called the “Circle of Clean” — a heightened standard of cleaning and sanitation protocols recommended by the World Health Organization and the Department of Health.
To protect guests and employees, the Circle of Clean’s safety measures include mandatory temperature checks, physical distancing markers, hourly disinfection of contact surfaces, a seamless online check-in process, luggage disinfection upon arrival and departure, sanitiser stations at high-touch points throughout the hotels, and more.
Above all, the Robinsons Hotels & Resorts group promotes warm and gracious hospitality to bring you the relaxing stay that you deserve.
All hotel and resort staff are fully vaccinated and prepared to welcome guests in personal protective equipment (PPE). What’s more, they’ve worked hard to complete the necessary “Signature Circle of Clean Training” on COVID-19 protocols that include physical distancing, food safety and hygiene, and the proper way to wear PPEs.
Ready to find the right hotel for you? We know how difficult it can be to choose between the wide range of accommodations out there, so we’ve compiled a list of hotels that are open to guests right now. Take your pick between quarantine hotels, regular hotels, and multiple-use hotels, which cater to the different needs of guests in the new normal.
Below, you’ll find the hotel classification of Go Hotels and Summit Hotels and Resorts properties, including their safety protocols, cleanliness standards, and other important guidelines.
Rest assured that Robinsons Hotels & Resorts makes the safety and well-being of guests their first priority. In addition to providing thoughtful service and elevating the standards for cleanliness and sanitation, the hotel group has also put together special offers and promos to enhance your hotel experience amid the pandemic. No matter your budget or purpose for travel, you’ll have everything you need for a smooth and worry-free stay!
Quarantine hotels refer to accommodations that can host and serve the following guests: returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs); stranded and incoming foreign travellers; essential workers; individuals who opt to or need to undergo mandatory quarantine; and lastly, health and emergency frontline services workers who require close access to their workplace.
All common areas and facilities (gyms, dining areas, function rooms) in quarantine hotels are not operational in order to minimise contact between guests.
Take note that quarantine hotels are strictly single occupancy and they follow a one-room-one-person policy.
This rule applies to all guests except for those who are 18 years old and below; families who are travelling together and belong to the same household; health and emergency frontline workers; or individuals requiring special assistance, including senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWD), and those with chronic medical illness.
Note: Rates are subject to room availability and IATF guidelines and may change without prior notice. In addition, Robinsons Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to refuse a guest entry if their purpose of travel is for leisure or deemed non-essential.
