Travelling from Singapore to Iloilo is now easier and more convenient than ever. Scoot, the budget carrier of Singapore Airlines, has officially launched direct flights between Singapore and Iloilo. This marks a significant milestone for Filipino travellers, balikbayans, and international tourists alike.
The inaugural flight landed at Iloilo International Airport on April 14, 2025, arriving at 5:35 a.m. with 108 passengers on board. The aircraft received a warm welcome with a water cannon salute, festive local music, and refreshments—an exciting celebration of Iloilo’s new global connection. The return flight to Changi Airport departed at 6:10 a.m. with 104 passengers bound for Singapore.

This new direct route is more than just convenient—it is a major step forward for Iloilo as a regional gateway in Western Visayas. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), the route is expected to boost tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between Iloilo and Singapore.

Scoot’s Iloilo-Singapore flights currently operate every Monday and Wednesday, making it easy for those planning short trips or business visits. Even better, starting June 2025, Scoot will expand operations to include Friday and Sunday flights. That means more flexibility for weekend travellers or those squeezing in a mid-week break.
