Victory Liner Now Accepts Cargo Padala 24/7 at Their Cubao Branch

At a time when cargo deliveries are booming more than ever, nothing says convenience like a company that lets you send and receive packages anytime you need to. This is true for Victory Liner, whose cargo padala in Cubao has recently been upgraded to operate 24/7. Thus, making its services more accessible for businesses and other customers at all hours of the day.

24/7 cargo padala in Cubao for everyone

Previously open from only 6am to 10pm daily, branch is now the first 24/7 outlet of Drop & Go. “Our customers actually suggested this in Cubao before,” Victory Liner Operations Manager Aleks Briones shared with TripZilla in an interview. “When we saw that there was a clamour for it, we immediately executed.”

When choosing which outlet would be made to operate day and night, it was a rather easy choice for the company to decide on Quezon City’s commercial heart. “Cubao is strategically located in the middle of the metro, [so] a lot of customers send and receive items here. I think this is why it is our number one hub,” he added.

According to Briones, these customers include corporate companies that operate until late hours of the evening, as well as small businesses in the food and beverage sector that require trading goods in wet markets early in the morning. There are also individuals who simply need to send or retrieve personal packages outside their typical school or work hours.

Upgrading services for the long-term

For the above reasons, Victory Liner has also levelled up their safety features. “Although we have fewer administrative staff, our security is doubled at night. Our customers still get excellent service though despite this,” Briones further said. Drop & Go clients can then seamlessly send packages no matter what time they opt to visit the Cubao branch. As of publication, you can send cargo to the following Drop & Go destinations.

While Drop & Go Cubao’s new operating hours open doors to more clients, Victory Liner is working on how it could also benefit those who are personally unable to visit the branch for various reasons. In particular, the customers of its door-to-door delivery service, DGMan, which functions in partnership with the on-demand delivery app, JoyRide.

According to Briones, they are currently assessing the service’s demands beyond a certain time in the evening. If there happens to be enough demand, it’s likely that those customers may also soon enjoy home pickup and delivery of their cargo, at the same taking advantage of the app’s affordable courier service.

A more accessible Drop & Go moving forward

Before 2020, Victory Liner’s Cubao terminal has already been open 24/7 for its passenger services. It was only a matter of time before its cargo services would be the same, given the need for speedy and reliable deliveries at this time. Asked whether this would also be applied to Drop & Go’s provincial outlets, Briones said it would still require further study because of the distinct dynamics in provinces.

As for the Cubao cargo padala branch, Victory Liner’s Operations Manager is hopeful about making the initiative a lasting privilege to its customers. “This will most likely end up being permanent, especially if we go back to normal, since there is a small number of customers who want to transact when there are fewer people and no traffic,” Briones added.
