Victory Liner Now Has Their Own Provincial Delivery Rider Who’ll Fetch Your Cargo for You

With travel being out of the question these past few months, there’s no denying the impact this had on anyone and everyone who works in the industry. For domestic travel, this includes bus drivers, conductors, and many an employee in the provincial transportation sector. After all, what used to be an ever-busy workplace has left them in an occupational limbo since the country went on lockdown.

Fortunately, Victory Liner has launched their newest service: the DG Man. Specialising in provincial delivery, it aims to help both its employees and anyone in need of efficient solutions. And by the latter, we’re talking about door-to-door cargo delivery from Metro Manila to several Luzon provinces! Sounds good, doesn’t it? Well, wait till you find out more.

About Victory Liner’s all-new cargo delivery service

First things first: DG Man is under Victory Liner’s Drop & Go cargo padala unit. Offering door-to-door provincial delivery of packages, it’s quite the savvy option for when you need something delivered from Metro Manila to Central and Northern Luzon. And given that the company has always been a known expert in traversing these regions, you can expect that their operations to be faster than any other service.

What’s also notable about DG Man is that the hard workers behind it are Victory Liner’s own regular employees; from drivers and conductors, to mechanics. “Through this innovation, they can easily have food to bring home to their families once again,” shared Marivic Del Pilar, Victory Liner’s Vice President for Finance and Marketing. These folks even use their own tricycle or motorcycle to deliver goods straight from provincial Drop & Go outlets.

AVAIL DG MAN DELIVERY

Why DG Man is the way to go

Speaking of innovation, DG Man makes provincial delivery a whole lot easier. “A lot of people have a hard time going to [Victory Liner] terminals to drop off and/or claim. So, instead, we’ll go to them and solve such logistics hindrances,” explained Del Pilar. After all, provincial transportation may be difficult now, but cargo and trade go on.

A great thing about this provincial delivery service is that it allows many Victory Liner employees to continue working despite these uncertain times. Meanwhile, for the customers, it’s more convenient for both the sender and the recipient.

We particularly appreciate how this service encourages everyone to stay at home, given that you won’t have to go to a terminal to drop off or pick up cargo. It’s also a lot safer, since door-to-door delivery means you won’t have to leave your house and risk exposing yourself. So, yes, it’s definitely a win-win!

How this provincial delivery service works

As mentioned, DG Man offers door-to-door delivery. Those who wish to avail of this service can log on to their website and fill out all the necessary information. (Note: Victory Liner does not have an app yet.) From there, a DG Man rider will go to your location to pick up the package, send it to the nearest Victory Liner terminal, and they’ll take care of the rest!

Alternatively, if you’re the one expecting to receive a package, there’s no need to head over to a Drop & Go office to pick it up. Instead, a DG Man rider will deliver it straight to your house in the province.

And, of course, rest assured that your cargo will be in safe (and efficient) hands — thanks to the specially made DG Box. It comes in five different sizes, depending on how much and how heavy are your items. Whichever you pick, each box comes in a reliably durable material to protect nearly any type of goods!

Opting for a DG Box also means being first-priority for payment and loading onto cargo trucks. And if that’s not enough to convince you, any DG Box package is ensured to arrive at the destination terminal in 24 hours or less! You can get these from Drop & Go branches in Caloocan, Cubao, Pasay, Sampaloc, and Baguio.

SEND CARGO UP NORTH

With such a fantastic solution to our cargo woes, you’re probably wondering: will DG Man continue even after the pandemic? Given that it’s indeed a promising innovation — all signs point to ‘yes.’ And we, for one, look forward to what else is in store!
