Love ramen? Having had authentic ramen in Japan before, I don’t see any reason why anyone wouldn’t. Other than the fact that it tastes really good, getting a bowl of this Japanese noodle soup is a great opportunity to experience Japan, regardless of where you are in the world.
You might already know of countless restaurants serving ramen in the Philippines. But did you know that you can get one that comes with a Filipino twist as well? This is possible at , a restaurant co-owned by Goto Monster which specialises in Filipino porridge recipes.

The ramen at brings together classic ramen ingredients from Japan such as noodles, meat, ramen broth, and nori. In addition, the restaurant mixes in corn, shiitake mushroom, and adobo eggs that have been marinated for at least 24 hours for the best flavour.
There are also crunchy, thinly sliced leeks which, for those who don’t know, are onion-like garden vegetables. Here, they replace the traditional scallion found in a standard Japanese ramen recipe to give the Filipino-style bowl a rich, sweet taste.
Available for ₱355, this Filipino ramen comes in two variations, one served with soft beef cuts and another with crispy soft pork. If you want more eggs to eat your bowl with, you can separately order ’s five-piece adobo egg bucket for ₱350.

You can also choose to order Filipino ramen alongside other popular meals at the Metro Manila restaurant. They have fresh spring rolls, tokwa’t chicharon bulaklak, and puto bumbong waffles. The restaurant is located at 2/F Rockwell Business Center Sheridan, Mandaluyong.
