Tucked away in the lush landscapes of Camiguin, Tuasan Falls is one of those hidden gems that feels like a secret paradise waiting to be explored. With its powerful cascade, crystal-clear waters, and a jungle backdrop straight out of a postcard, this waterfall is a must-visit if you’re looking for a nature escape with just the right amount of adventure.

Tuasan Falls is located in Catarman, Camiguin, and getting there is surprisingly easy. Unlike some waterfalls that require long hikes through the jungle, Tuasan Falls is just a short walk from the parking area. The road leading up to it is well-paved, making it accessible whether you’re traveling by car, motorcycle, or even tricycle. This means you can enjoy a full-on waterfall experience without the exhaustion of a long trek—perfect for those who love nature but prefer to keep things chill.

The first thing you’ll notice as you approach Tuasan Falls is the sound. The water thunders down from about 20 to 25 meters, creating a mesmerizing roar that sets the mood for the adventure ahead. Unlike more commercialized waterfalls, Tuasan retains its natural charm—no man-made pools, no overwhelming crowds, just pure, unspoiled beauty.
Surrounded by thick, green foliage, the waterfall feels like a secluded oasis. The pool at the base is deep enough for swimming, and the water is refreshingly cold, especially after a hot day exploring the island. If you’re up for a dip, make sure to bring swimwear because the temptation to jump in is hard to resist.
Tuasan Falls is open daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you want the place all to yourself (or at least avoid bigger crowds), it’s best to visit in the morning. The natural lighting also makes this the best time for photos—think golden-hour glow but with the added magic of misty waterfalls in the background.
The entrance fee is PHP 75 per person—pretty reasonable for a spot this stunning. Basic facilities like restrooms and small snack stands are available near the parking area, but there aren't any big food stalls, so bringing some snacks or a packed lunch isn’t a bad idea.
Swimwear & extra clothes – The water is way too inviting to just look at, so come prepared.
Waterproof bag – You’ll want to protect your phone and other valuables from splashes.
Non-slip footwear – The rocks and paths around the falls can be slippery, especially after rain.
Camera or phone – Because trust me, you’ll want to capture this spot.
While the area around the falls is generally safe, it’s always best to stay cautious. Avoid climbing slippery rocks, and be mindful of water currents, especially if you’re swimming near the falls.
