Dreaming of basking in the Siargao sun? You can now travel to the island paradise faster and easier. On 31 Oct 2022, Sunlight Air launched its bi-weekly direct flights from Manila to Siargao.

According to Sunlight Air, Manila to Siargao flights are available every Monday and Friday. Travellers will depart from the Sunlight Air terminal near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and arrive at the Siargao Sayak Airport after two and a half hours.

As of writing, most flights are available around 7am, with an estimated arrival time (ETA) in Siargao at 9.30am. Meanwhile, direct flights from Siargao to Manila are usually scheduled at around 10.30am, with the ETA at 1pm.
Sunlight Air asks travellers to arrive at the terminal at least two hours before the estimated time of departure (ETD).
Flight bookings with Sunlight Air are inclusive of a free check-in baggage allowance of 10kg and one unchecked baggage of 8kg or less. Baggage of children below two years old will be regarded as that of the accompanying adult.
Based in Clark, Pampanga, Sunlight Air is a fairly new domestic airline established on 22 Jul 2019. Aside from Siargao, the airline also operates flights to Camiguin, Caticlan, Puerto Princesa, San Vicente, and Busuanga.

Other than Sunlight Air, other airlines also allow direct flights from Manila to Siargao, including Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and SkyJet Airlines.
