One of our current go-to spots is Yugen, one of the restaurants in Ortigas that’s as authentic as it is beautiful. A wide range of Japanese delicacies is available, from delicious rolls and sushi to rice meals and noodles. Hungry foodies hankering for East Asian favourites will definitely leave Yugen full and satisfied.

2. Kitchitora Ramen

Hungry for ramen? If you’re in SM Megamall, then you won’t go wrong with a meal at Kitchitora Ramen. The shop specialises in paitan ramen, with each bowl of soup made fresh every day using pure chicken stock. Fragrant, smooth, and delicious, Kitchitora’s famous paitan soup is hailed as one of the best and most authentic ramen dishes in Metro Manila.

Metro foodies have long been enamoured by the Vikings Group and the all-you-can-eat restaurant’s over-the-top selection of food, from dim sum and sushi to pasta and steaks. Wine is free-flowing, too! 

Be ready for the crowds, though. As is the case with the most popular restaurants in Ortigas and beyond, it’s best to make a reservation before showing up at Niu by Vikings.

8. Summer Palace

Tuck into authentic Cantonese cuisine at Summer Palace, an upscale restaurant that sits in the five-star EDSA Shangri-La. And if you’re up for a party, Moonshine is in full swing come nighttime. Yuppies descend to throw back cocktails, fill up on modern Filipino dishes, and then dance to cool beats by resident DJs.
