Uniqlo Blue Bay Walk Will Open in Pasay City in November 2020

Uniqlo Philippines is opening its second roadside store in Metro Manila, the Japanese retail giant announced on 26 Oct 2020 via its official Facebook page. Uniqlo Blue Bay Walk will be located in Pasay City, coincidentally, a stone’s throw away from the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines.

“We’re all about giving you more of life’s necessities. That’s why we’re opening our second roadside store in the country: UNIQLO Blue Bay Walk,” Uniqlo Philippines said in the post. “It’s a stand-alone store that features a spacious parking area for customers, promoting easier and more personal shopping experience.”

What we know about the Uniqlo Blue Bay Walk roadside store

The second Uniqlo roadside store in the Philippines will officially open on 27 Nov 2020 at 10am. Like its first roadside store in Alabang’s Westgate that opened in August 2019, the new stand-alone shop will offer customers a more convenient shopping experience because of its accessible location.

In a report by Manila Bulletin in 2019, Uniqlo Philippines co-COO Geraldine Sia said that the roadside store concept is about immersing with the community. “It is a new business model away from the mall because most of our stores are inside or within a small so this is part of a local community and we would be able to be close to them and customers need not travel far and it is very convenient.”
