On Saturday, 3 Jun 2023, cyclists and two-wheel enthusiasts are coming together to celebrate the much-anticipated World Bicycle Day. With exciting bike-centric events and festivals in store, expect nothing less than an action-packed celebration this year! Don’t have any plans lined up yet? World Bicycle Day 2023 events happening in Metro Manila

1. Pedal Power at Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces – Quezon City

Gear up for a day filled with exciting activities at the Pedal Power festival held at Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces. Here, cyclists and two-wheeler enthusiasts can join a community ride, meet cycling influencers, and get a chance to win exciting prizes. The best part? 2. Fitness Loop at Ayala Triangle Gardens – Makati City

Empower yourself through exercise and play at the Fitness Loop at Ayala Triangle Gardens,  Makati City! Happening this 3–4 Jun 2023, a series of leisure activities including running, skating, cycling, and yoga await you. And to celebrate World Bicycle Day, the National Bicycle Organization is even hosting bike lessons and a push bike racing series for kiddie cyclists. Take advantage of these fun fitness offerings suitable for all ages!

3. Taguig Community Bike Ride – Taguig City

It’s no secret that the City of Taguig has emerged as a haven for bike enthusiasts seeking exhilarating rides and safe routes. In partnership with the Department of Health, they’re inviting you to gear up and get pedalling for a healthier, safer, and more sustainable community. The Taguig Community Bike Ride will take place on 10 Jun 2023 at the Taguig Lakeshore Hall. Sign up for the cycling movement here!

Assembly Time: 5.30am
Morning ride: 6.00am

4. Bikers’ Day at Filinvest City – Muntinlupa City

Filinvest City is bringing you a lineup of activities to enjoy for World Bicycle Day cost-free! The Bikers’ Day event will include community rides, talks, a bazaar, and free tune-ups to give your bike some much-needed TLC. Catch these pedal-powered activities over at Filinvest City’s Central Park on 3 Jun 2023. 

Note: Registration for the community ride will be held from 5.30am–6.15am.

Kiddie Fun Ride: 8am–12pm
Cycling 101: 8am–10am
Free Tune-Ups: 8am–12pm
Bike Bazaar: 8am–12pm; 4pm–10pm 

5. Las Piñas Bike Festival 2023 – Las Piñas City

The Las Piñas Cycling Alliance and the National Bicycle Organization invite you to a weekend-long festival to celebrate World Bicycle Day! From 3-4 Jun 2023, a range of bike-centric activities await you at the Las Piñas Bike Festival 2023. Encourage your kids to kickstart their cycling journey through the Push Bike Racing event. Moreover, day two of the festival will comprise a bike parade, road safety seminar, and bike exhibition.

Meet-up at Robinsons Las Pinas: 5.30am
Padyak para sa Kalikasan 6: 6am

6. SM Bike Fest 2023 – Multiple locations

SM Cares, together with Break The Cycle Philippines and Strong South, has exciting surprises in store for you! They will be organising a community fun ride and bike safety clinics for kids across selected SM Supermalls. The community fun ride will be held at SM by the BAY, SM City Fairview, SM City Marikina, SM City Clark, SM City Sta. Rosa, SM Seaside Cebu, and SM Lanang Premier. 

Of course, people of all ages deserve to enjoy cycling in safe spaces! Bike safety clinics for kids will also be available at SM by the BAY, SM City Fairview, and SM City Marikina. Here, kids aged six to 15 years old can learn more about bike safety and enjoy cycling sessions.

Note: Early bird registration is already closed; however, you may join the SM Bike Fest 2023 as a walk-in participant.
