Here’s Everything We Know About the BTS Pop-Up Store in Manila

It’s official: A BTS pop-up store is coming to Manila, Philippines in May 2021! According to a schedule released by HYBE Merch, BTS Pop-Up: Map of the Soul will be in Metro Manila from 29 May to 29 Aug 2021. That’s three whole months — plenty of time to drop by and stock up on official BTS merchandise!

UPDATE as of 14 Aug 2021: The Map of the Soul showcase will be extended until 31 Oct 2021.

Details for the BTS pop-up store in Manila

On 29 April 2021, SM Megamall took to their official Facebook page to tease the arrival of the much-awaited pop-up. It has since been confirmed that the pop-up store will open on the third level of Mega Fashion Hall, next to H&M. This being said — don’t forget to download the necessary contact tracing apps and QR codes for a smooth entry!

As of 25 May 2021, the official pop-up mechanics have been released:

1. There will be an online pre-reservation system

Of course, this is the first question on many of our minds: How to reserve a slot in the BTS pop-up store in Manila?

Online pre-reservation will open every Wednesday, with 10 time slots per day; only 20 guests will be allowed in for each scheduled slot. Sign-ups may be made starting via the MorningKall online reservations platform.

2. Only five walk-ins will be allowed per time slot

There will be a separate queue available for walk-ins. Additional walk-ins will only be permitted in the event of no-shows.

3. Minimum health standards will be strictly observed

The Map of the Soul pop-up requires that guests wear their masks and face shields, and observe social distancing at all times to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Temperature checks will also be made, and those with a temperature of 37.5°C may be denied entry.

4. Guests will have about 45 minutes inside the pop-up

E-ticket holders are advised to arrive 10 to 15 minutes ahead of their time slot and proceed to the appropriate queue. They will then be given 30 minutes of shopping and 15 minutes for payment and crowd clearing. That’s plenty of time to enjoy all the BTS merch that the pop-up has in store for us! 

5. Each session may offer different products or sell out early

Due to limited quantity, there is, unfortunately, a great possibility of your coveted products getting sold out. This being said, it would be best to sign up for the earliest slot possible! May the odds be in your favour, ARMYs!

As for what will be available at the BTS pop-up store in Manila? There’ll be loads of merch on offer: food and drinks; albums; clothes, bags, and accessories; and cute knick knacks galore — even makeup! Almost every inch of it will be photo op-worthy, too.
