When you take the coronavirus outbreak into account, everything seems a lot cheaper these days — especially with flights. But this is particularly handy for when you’re travelling to domestic destinations with the summer season coming up. If that’s the case, take advantage of Philippine Airlines’ and SkyJet Airlines’ cheap flights from Manila, Cebu, and other cities. From around ₱3,000, you can score round-trip flights to must-visit Philippine destinations such as Coron and Siargao!
For some international destinations, like those served by AirAsia and Cebu Pacific, such promo fares don’t seem that bad either. But unlike Philippine Airlines and SkyJet Airlines, both low-cost airlines neither come with free meals nor baggage allowance beyond the usual 7kg, respectively. What’s more, the real question is whether you’re willing to brave international airport crowds amid the coronavirus situation. Having said that, experts say it is safe to travel outside the country provided you take ample precaution.
