What is the COMELEC Mobile App?

The Commission on Election (COMELEC) launched the mobile app on 15 Jun 2021 with the goal to ease the voter registration process. Registrants will still need to visit their local COMELEC offices to submit their information. However, the mobile app aims to cut the time of filling in the necessary forms.

“The launch of the mobile app is very timely in the face of mobility restrictions brought by COVID-19 because you will only need a smartphone to accomplish the form,” Commissioner Marlon Cascuejo said on Monday.

“This will save time, effort, and money that will be otherwise spent on going to a computer shop to download and print the form, or getting the form at the local Comelec to fill it out manually.”
