How to Use a Single QR Code in Metro Manila and Nearby Local Government Units

Contact tracing remains one of the Philippines’ top efforts at combatting the COVID-19 pandemic. With the help of contact tracing applications, it would be easier for authorities to manage those infected with coronavirus and the people who have been in their contact, thereby preventing further transmission.

On the other hand, integrated contact tracing initiatives like Bantay COVID-19 (Antipolo), PasigPass (Pasig), and ValTrace (Valenzuela) make it possible to fill out a single contact tracing form for use in multiple locations.

Recently, Mandaluyong’s MandaTrack joined the programme, also officially known as the Contact Tracing Network Consortium Agreement. This would provide a faster and overall more convenient way of contact tracing in Metro Manila and its vicinities.

Integrated contact tracing in Metro Manila and nearby places

When going to establishments, from malls to restaurants, in Antipolo, Mandaluyong, Pasig, and Valenzuela, you’ll only need one QR code instead of four. First, go to one of the four websites for contact tracing in Metro Manila and Rizal by clicking the following:

  1. Bantay COVID-19 in Antipolo
  2. PasigPass in Pasig
  3. MandaTrack in Mandaluyong
  4. ValTrace in Valenzuela

Second, click Sign Up and fill out all the required personal information. This includes your full name, birthday, complete address, and contact number. Read the terms at the end and click Submit. Third, generate a QR code. You can then save it on your mobile phone or print it.

Present the QR code each time you enter an establishment in either of the four cities. This also applies to individuals coming from other destinations, not just Antipolo, Pasig, Mandaluyong, or Valenzuela residents. To change a detail in your contact tracing account, log back on to the pertinent website using your username and password.
