Courses for pottery heads

If you find learning pottery interesting, Pampanga Pottery is more than happy to accommodate your curiosity. Courses about the basics to clay pottery start at ₱300 per person. The package includes one kilogram of clay to shape, 10–15 minutes of wheel throwing time, and basic wet designing lessons. Firing your earthenware will also be free! The shop’s experts will assist you all throughout the course. 

For a more extensive course, Pampanga Pottery also has a six-hour package. The course starts at ₱1,500 and covers the basics of pottery down pat. Along with these are workshops for advanced techniques such as kneading and trimming.

Finally, there are also group courses. Consider these when you and your friends want to bond over a new hobby! This is a 2D1N course, starting at ₱4,500 for a minimum of four people and a maximum of eight. You can also witness the actual wood firing for your pots. Accommodations to Pampanga Pottery’s agritourism park and two meals are also included.

Pottery painting sessions are also offered in Pampanga Pottery for ₱250. The shop has terracotta pots available as your next canvas. Painting kits are also available if you want to paint at home.

Do note that curing your pots will take around two weeks. Plan that return trip ahead to see your work in all its glory!

More than crafts

Since Pampanga Pottery is also an agritourism park, visitors can spend their time in any of the activities inside. They serve quick meals and coffee in their cafe. You can also book rabbit feeding, fishing, and garden tours or avail of all of them as a package.

Pampanga Pottery operates from 8am to 5pm on Mondays and Tuesdays and from 8am to 7pm every Wednesday to Sunday. You can locate the shop at Bondocville, Balut Street in Santo Tomas, Pampanga.
