The promise of new flavours beckons from Banawe.
My first encounter with Baguio’s Vizco’s strawberry shortcake was in 2013. A college dormmate brought home a piece to celebrate her victory over “hell week” (a.k.a. the week of exams and tedious requirements). I’m not one to exaggerate (okay, maybe just a little), but that first bite changed my life.

To help Cordilleran farmers continue making revenue during COVID-19, Facebook online shop Love, Strawberry decided to launch a delivery service. On 30 Jun 2020, they posted a price list for numerous items from Vizco’s, including their strawberry shortcake. The prices are as follows:
Customers are required to pay a 50% down payment to reserve orders. You can pay cash-on-delivery for the other half of the payment. The shop is located at Commonwealth in Quezon City, so if you’re around the area, you may pick your orders up. Love, Strawberry also delivers straight to your doorstep if you don’t have time to pass by their hub.
Because of the overwhelming amount of orders, the online shop temporarily stopped accepting orders since 2 Jul. However, the seller announced that they will be accepting pre-orders starting 12 Jul. So make sure to mark your calendars!
Aside from cakes, Love, Strawberry also delivers freshly picked strawberries from La Trinidad! They even bake ube pandesal and strawberry pandesal. Other strawberry products are also available. The prices are as follows:
*A tub of quality sweet Charlie strawberries weighs up to 250 grams, while a tub of jumbo king berries weighs up to 180 grams.
