What kind of airline is Zipair Tokyo, exactly? The service is a subsidiary of Japan Airlines and provides affordable options to fly into the East Asian country. And so, flights from Manila to Tokyo just became more affordable! Travellers can start planning their dream trip to Japan when Zipair Tokyo kicks off its new Manila-Tokyo route this July.
The affordability of this airline’s tickets comes with many perks. Manila-Tokyo flights begin at US$114.23 (around ₱6,347.82), while Tokyo-Manila flights are at US$108.77 (around ₱6,044.40). These tickets also come with unlimited WiFi access and power outlets — absolute luxuries when in mid-air!
One selling point of Zipair Tokyo’s services is the convenient flight schedules. They host one flight every day, departing Manila every 2.35pm and arriving in Tokyo at 8.05pm. Returning flights from Tokyo to Manila depart at 9.25am and arrive at 1.10pm.

Apart from the standard ticket price, the budget airline offers three additional packages to consider that will definitely enhance air travel to Japan. The first one is Value, which includes an in-flight meal, seat selection, and check-in baggage allowance. The second package is Biz, which allows travellers the privilege of seat selection, plus space for a five-kilogram carry-on bag. Premium package has seat selection, carry-on and check-in baggage, an in-flight meal, and even an amenity kit.
Finally, when going back to Manila, the airline offers access to the Narita Paid Lounge Service. Open from 7am to 8pm, the lounge has coffee, magazines, power outlets, and ever-glorious access to WiFi. Walk-in bookings are accepted at the lounge, but we recommend arranging it earlier on Zipair’s official website for complimentary drinks! The service costs ¥1,600 (around ₱643.57).
