As flight bookings become more digital, who knew the day would come when you could save on your next flight by going to an e-commerce site like Lazada? In the case of low-cost travellers, you can now even earn AirAsia BIG Rewards points by purchasing an SMS e-voucher from the platform.
Sold by a store called Share Treats, e-vouchers allow you to score travel deals without having to go directly to the airline’s website. And yes, the products are completely legitimate. The vouchers range from 200 to 1,000 AirAsia points, available at 20% off respectively.

To illustrate, the 200 AirAsia point e-vouchers are being sold for just ₱170, while the 1,000 point e-vouchers are available for only ₱800. Upon successful redemption of the vouchers, the points would be credited to your AirAsia BIG member account, so first be sure to sign up for one to avail the voucher.
Once you have both the Lazada app and an AirAsia BIG member account, you can proceed to buying the vouchers on Lazada. The process is similar to how you would usually shop for other items on the site. Then, do the following steps:
The code is valid for 180 days from the time you received them via text, and you can only redeem it within that period. Buyers of the voucher have also attested to the validity of the service, with some saying how convenient and fast the entire process is from receiving the code to redemption.

Take note that there is no exact equivalent of the points in pesos, and the rates are only available during booking. Moreover, the same vouchers are also being sold on Shopee by the same store. You can avail them by visiting this page.
