Our favourite places to stay on this sleepy Cebu island.
At around 6.30am on 10 Jan 2021, Baguio City recorded their lowest temperature yet for 2021 at 10.4°C. As January — Baguio’s coldest month of the year — is just beginning, temperatures may drop even further in the days to come. If you’re itching for a quick getaway somewhere chilly, now would be the perfect time to schedule a trip to Baguio!

The lowest recorded temperature in Baguio is a whopping 6.3°C — although that was all the way back in January 1961. Last year, the city’s weather was at its coldest at 10.2°C; and in 2019, temperatures dropped all the way down to 9.4°C! We wonder just how cold it’ll get in Baguio this year.
Leaving the country for leisure travel still isn’t the practical thing to do at the moment; but for residents of Luzon, bundling up and escaping to Baguio for a little while is totally possible. During a time where most of us have long been deprived of travel, a trip to Baguio at this time of year may even give you the out-of-the-country vibes you’ve long been dreaming of!
Before anything else, be sure to check out Baguio’s safety protocols for travellers from Luzon. Wishing you nothing but happy, safe travels!
