Have you heard the news? Hit Netflix series Emily in Paris has been renewed — and not for just one, but two more seasons! If you’ve enjoyed the first two instalments of the Darren Star production so far, then we’re pretty sure the Season 2 finale left you on the edge of your seats. (If you haven’t caught up yet, we suggest you come back to this article when you’re ready. Spoilers ahead!)

Production has yet to begin, although it is believed that the next two seasons will start filming — possibly back to back — later this year. It may take a whole year or so before Season 3 premieres, which means it’ll be a bit of a wait before Emily in Paris answers our burning questions. Will Emily accept Sylvie’s job offer, or will she head back to Chicago? Will she break Alfie’s heart and continue to pursue Gabriel?
As we (impatiently) await Emily in Paris Season 3, we have a recommendation for you! Check out Younger, an underrated Darren Star production featuring Sutton Foster, Nico Tortorella, and Hilary Duff! Haven’t heard of it yet? Well, it’s about time you added it to your watch list!

Younger premiered in 2015 and ran for seven seasons until 2021. The story centres around Liza Miller (Sutton Foster), a 40-year-old single mom who seeks to re-enter the working world after taking an 18-year hiatus to raise her daughter. Because of the huge gap in her resume, she’s forced to seek entry-level jobs — the problem is they’re constantly turning her down because of her age.
On a night out with one of her friends, a 20-something guy she meets at a bar (Josh, played by Nico Tortorella) mistakes her for a 26-year-old. This incident sparks an interesting idea: Why not pretend to be 26? The plan works out, and Liza lands a position at a publishing company. (She scores a date with Josh, too!)
At work, she meets her soon-to-be BFF Kelsey (Hilary Duff) and her (attractive) boss Charles, who happens to be an age-appropriate match for Liza. As she gets closer to all these new people, the more Liza worries about the people she’s deceiving.
The plot sounds a little far-fetched and is definitely a little questionable IRL — but it’s fun to watch nonetheless! Episodes run for about 30 minutes, and each season runs for 12 episodes. It’s totally bingeable, and we’re sure you’ll be attached to the characters in no time. Expect loads of laughs, feel-good scenes, and kilig moments, plus meaningful lessons in between.
