Hidilyn Diaz became an instant multi-millionaire when she became the first Olympic gold medalist from the Philippines. On top of cash and properties, she also got a hold of 80,000 Mabuhay Miles per year for life as a prize, courtesy of Philippine Airlines (PAL). Now, you too can have them, thanks to the airline’s Forever Flyer raffle promo.
In the promo, which runs from 8 Aug to 15 Dec 2021, eight lucky passengers will win 80,000 Miles annually for a lifetime. Along with them, 80 more passengers will take home 8,000 Miles with the same conditions. This promo is in celebration of the Philippine flag carrier’s 80th anniversary. To get a chance to win these prizes, here’s all you need to do:

For each ₱80 you spend on PAL flights booked within the raffle promo duration, you’ll get one (1) raffle entry. If the ticket price is not divisible by 80, it will be rounded up. For example, a flight worth ₱1,000 would be equivalent to 12.50 entries. PAL will round this up to 13 entries instead. Raffle draws will happen multiple times in the same period. The dates are as follows:
To qualify for one of these draws, you must purchase your ticket no later than two days before a draw date. So if you wish to join a promo scheduled for the final draw on 17 Dec 2021, you need to complete your transaction on or before 11.59pm on 15 Dec. If you didn’t win in one draw, your entry will automatically qualify for the next one, as long as you don’t request a ticket refund.
The Forever Flyer promo likewise lists down a number of terms and conditions to make sure you qualify for the raffle, and thereby the prizes. For a start, you can’t join the promo if:

Upon winning, a PAL passenger with 80,000 Miles can use them for a round-trip flight ticket to places like Los Angeles or New York from Manila. Meanwhile, 8,000 miles is equivalent to the same ticket for Cebu, Boracay, and other Philippine destinations. The airline adds that the “prizes are not refundable, replaceable, or transferable for cash, credit, or other rewards.”
Redemption of prizes will begin on 1 Jan 2022. Winners will receive an email or notification via their contact details within five working days since his or her win. Furthermore, the Miles will be credited to the Mabuhay Miles member’s account during the first working day of every year for the rest of his or her life.
