Shopee & Lazada Users Share Their Best & Worst Purchases in This Facebook Group!

In an age of contactless transactions, online shopping has become a big part of our daily lives. Instead of heading out, we can purchase most of our needs in just a few clicks and have them sent straight to our doorsteps. Shopee and Lazada are among the most highly used e-commerce sites today, most notably because of their fair prices, monthly sales, and discount and shipping vouchers.

The downfall of online shopping

Here’s where our shopping experience falls short with these apps, though: Shopee and Lazada reviews are, more often than not, quite unhelpful. A quick browse through product ratings will simply show you descriptions of how the item was packaged, how long it took for the item to be shipped, or how responsive the seller was. (At times, you’ll even find straight-up nonsense — some buyers simply upload random media and gibberish in order to get cashback rewards for their “reviews.”) As for the products themselves? We only see proper reviews once in a blue moon!

Finally, helpful Shopee and Lazada product reviews

The thing about online shopping is that it can be quite a gamble, especially when ordering items that have only a few reviews — and useless ones at that! Thankfully, however, a few people have found a way for online shoppers to help each other out.

In order to address the lack of quality reviews on Shopee and Lazada, several users have put together a Facebook group called Shopee and Lazada Items Bought REAL Reviews. The group, which was established in September 2020, presently has over a thousand members. Here, online shoppers rave about great steals, share their negative experiences, and ask for recommendations on the best products to buy.

As a frequent online shopper, I was lucky to have stumbled upon this Facebook group! Through this online community, I’ve observed people share the best deals, their most sulit purchases, and even warnings against scammers. I’ve also observed that the members are very responsive to those who ask for advice and product links. This being said, if you are a regular Shopee or Lazada user, joining this group should be a no-brainer!
