Zambales Travel Protocols During COVID-19

Miss the beach? Well then, we have good news for you: Zambales is finally open to travellers! Here are the latest travel protocols of Zambales, as of 26 Jul 2021.

Zambales travel protocols: requirements and DOT-accredited accommodations

“Whenever you are ready, we are ready,” the Zambales Tourism office announced on 28 May 2021. “Zambales is now ready to accept tourists!”

Along with its opening, Zambales laid its travel protocols to ensure utmost safety among its residents and visitors. Upon entering the province, travellers will be required to present:

1. A QTP upon registering at VISITA Zambales
2. Confirmed booking at a DOT-accredited accommodation
3. A negative COVID-19 test result
   1. For unvaccinated travellers: a negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours prior to travel
   2. For fully vaccinated travellers: negative rapid test taken within 24 hours prior to travel
