Even before the pandemic (when more Filipinos have been exposed to his online shows), fans of Park Seo-joon were already treated to his presence way back in September 2019. This was when he attended a fan meet following his launch as an endorser for retail brand Bench.
This time, he will travel to the Philippines to meet his old and new fans courtesy of Smart Communications, Inc., with who he recently signed a partnership. Along with him will be fellow Smart endorsers Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin. The fan meet is supposedly part of the actors’ respective contracts with the brand, according to PLDT Chief Revenue Officer Alfredo S. Panlilio via a GMA News report.
“Ever since we signed Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, we’ve been getting messages wanting them to join any event,” Panlilio said. “It’s really just the timing. We can’t commit yet as to when with the travel restrictions, but we’ll try our very best to make it happen for sure.”

Smart GIGA K-Video is a prepaid data pack that will let Filipinos get a better streaming experience of Korean shows.
