Timezone Philippines Is Selling Their Arcade Machines

Remember a time when we used to hang out and chill at Timezone with our friends? Going bowling, singing at the karaoke booths, playing driving and shooting games — those were the good old days. But even if we can’t physically visit Timezone right now, it looks like Timezone has no problem finding its way to us! 

Timezone Philippines has announced on their official Facebook page that some of their arcade machines are up for sale. These products include their most popular games, such as the “Hotshot” basketball machines and “Air Hockey” set.

Enjoy Timezone’s machines in your own home

Feel like your dunking skills have gone rusty lately? If you still remember trying to score as many points as possible at Timezone’s indoor basketball stations, then you’re going to want to have one of the “Hotshot” basketball machines for yourself. Complete with a metal ring and an automated digital scoring system, the “Hotshot” is up for grabs at ₱65,000. 

Another classic game we love is “Air Hockey,” which is also available for purchase. This is one of the arcade machines at Timezone that can bring out anyone’s competitive side! Featuring a bright-coloured table and an overhead playfield illumination with score displays, this game will make you feel like you’re back at the arcade again. It comes with a starting price of ₱55,000.  

Following government mandates for “non-essential” businesses, Timezone’s branches have remained closed to the public since Mar 2020. This has elicited a wave of nostalgic reactions from Filipino netizens, who are concerned about the arcade’s survival. 

But in a recent statement posted on Facebook, Timezone clarifies that the company has no plans of shutting down. Rather, they are simply decluttering venues and clearing away space for newer and more exciting games for when they are allowed to reopen in the future. 

“Once we are allowed by the government, we are more than ready to offer the FUN and GAMES (and tons of safety measures in place) that we have lined up to welcome you all again. For now, we wish you are all safe and healthy,” said Timezone in a post.
